Deep Breathe /《深呼吸》
The inspiration of this short film is taken from the real experience and various news events in today’s society. This is a thriving era, and it is also an era of material desires, too many people give up the bottom line of life for money, fame and fortune. There are still some people who are struggling in society, unable to breathe the air above, and the pressure is so great that they lose themselves, and in the end, they can't bear it, they will vent indiscriminately and eventually develop into violence. But what was the last straw that crushed the camel? Everyone has different answers.
The story mainly focuses on the leading actor, Xiaofei, a young man who has just got a job that put him into chaos, how he would make choices and get relief from huge doubts and deceptions.
This film shows the deep thought and profound social significance through the choices of lower-class young people who sacrificed by society under the tide of the times.
